Homemade Apple Sauce

Apple season is upon us!

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing how to make:
🍎Apple Crisps
🍎Apple Butter
🍎Apple Juice

Today is applesauce! As shown in this reel, applesauce is super easy to make.

  • Wash and cut apples in half.

  • Place in water and cook until soft.

  • Use victorio strainer to remove seeds and peels.

  • Jar up and decide how you want to preserve!

There are 2 options for preserving once it’s made:

  1. Freeze it! This what I normally do and yes, I use jars because I hate plastic. To do this, fill quart jars 3/4 full (wide mouth jars aren’t as prone to breaking) chill and then freeze.

  2. Or, can it. Water bath for 20 min for quarts, 15 minutes for pints.
